The DEDRA MC0958 sound intensity meter is an advanced tool for precise measurement of sound levels in various environments.
It will find its application wherever control and monitoring of the sound are crucial, and noise levels must not exceed strictly defined by health and safety regulations, for instance in the aviation industry, manufacturing or automotive industries, the transportation industry, and environmental protection in the broadest sense.
The MC0958 meter features a high measurement accuracy of ±1.5 dB, a wide measurement range of 30 to 130 dB(A) and the ability to record both the highest and lowest value of the current measurement. In addition, the Data Hold function makes it easy to analyse the results by allowing the current measurement to be held and displayed. Another worth-noting feature is an alert that is activated when noise levels exceed 82 dB(A) - an important feature for monitoring safe sound levels, providing protection against potential hazards.
The meter is powered by three AAA batteries, is compact in size and lightweight which make it a practical and handy device.
The device has been adapted to work with a tripod of standard ¼" size.
