The DEDRA MC0957 wind speed meter is a tool used in the energy industry, meteorology, shipping, construction, as well as in fields related to safety and extreme sports.
This measuring tool can be used to monitor sea conditions, to assess the impact of wind on building structures or to measure wind intensity during sports competitions.
The MC0957 meter, in addition to accurately measuring wind speed, has the ability to record ambient temperature, which greatly expands its range of functions. An important feature of this device is the WIND CHILL function, which automatically takes into account the wind chill factor when the temperature is lower than 0˚C. If the temperature drops below this level, the meter informs the user that the effect of wind on thermal sensation was taken into account during the measurement. Thanks to this feature, the analysis of measurement results becomes more consistent with real weather conditions, making the device even more reliable in providing accurate data.
Furthermore, the device is equipped with a cache memory for storing up to 1,000 measurement measurements, a low battery indicator and an automatic shutdown system after 10 minutes of inactivity. The meter is powered by three AAA batteries, is compact in size and low weight which make it a practical and handy device.
It has been adapted to work with a tripod of standard size ¼".
