The DEDRA DED7518 Styrofoam Cutting Device is designed for cutting styrodur and EPS derivatives.

Cutting is done using a heated chromium-nickel wire and allows for effective and precise cutting without generating waste, such as polystyrene beads, which are common with traditional cutting methods. The chromium-nickel wire is characterized by excellent resistance to high temperatures and corrosion, effectively transmitting heat and being less susceptible to mechanical damage. As a result, the device not only provides high cutting quality but also has a long service life, leading to lower operating costs.

The ability to lock the wire at any height allows for the adjustment of the cutting height, enabling the so-called shadowing of the plates. This technique consists of cutting parallel to the plane of the table, allowing the acquisition of material of varying thickness from a single plate.

The stable structure made of a combination of stainless steel and aluminum minimizes vibrations during cutting, leading to greater precision and accuracy in work. Additionally, the machine's work surface is equipped with a metric scale, allowing for precise measurements and obtaining accurate dimensions.

The set includes two additional cutting wires.
