The DED8861 submersible sewage pump is designed for pumping water from sewage systems and various types of water tanks found in homes, farms, and recreational properties, such as pools, ponds, wells, and basements. The three-stage grinder integrated into the pump allows for the removal of water with contaminants like cloths, gloves, bags, rubber bands, stockings, diapers, and sanitary napkins without the risk of clogging or damaging the pump.

The pump can also be used to dewater construction sites.
