The tool-free guide bar mounting and chain tensioning systems facilitate working with the saw. Lubrication of the chain is automatic. The tool has a safety switch to prevent accidental starting.

The saw is also equipped with an automatic brake that stops the chain and the machine when the kickback during cutting occurs.
