The three-storey mezzanine is the most important investment, which this year begins the process of the announced transformation of the warehouse. We used this installation for order picking of small goods, which are transported to the exit area using totes and automatic conveyors. The 1,800 m2 mezzanine floor has allowed us to triple the available picking area in this part of the hall. The benefits of the mezzanine are, above all, the speeding up of operations, which translates into greater efficiency and shorter lead times. In addition, through automation, we have gained greater control and monitoring of the process of issuing products, and thus greater safety and prevention of possible errors.

In addition, the new part of our warehouse is equipped with a semi-automatic dense storage system, which is operated by a shuttle car. Dense storage racking provides 5,800 pallet spaces over an area of four thousand square metres. In this storage system, the racks have a monolithic block construction. The loading, unloading and movement of the load unit takes place in specially constructed racking channels using a shuttle forklift.
