Self-shielded welding wire DEDRA DESMF08050 is a type of electrode used in MIG/MAG welding.

It contains built-in shielding materials in the form of powders or liquids – they create a protective gas during welding, eliminating the need for external shielding gas such as argon or carbon dioxide.

This type of wire is easy to use, eliminates the need for external gas, and offers faster welding compared to some other methods. Thanks to its high quality, it provides a better weld and minimizes spatter.

The wire is quite universal – suitable for welding most steel components, although it is not recommended for thin materials or windy conditions, which can affect shielding gas stability.

Recommended for use with inverter welders DESMi171M and DESMI201M.
