The calliper is used to make precise measurements, especially of material t hickness, depth of holes, etc. With the calliper you can measure the inside dimension of the material, the depth of the hole, etc. With the calliper you can measure the inside dimension, outside dimension, depth, height of an object. The DEDRA MC0015 steel slide r ule has an additional graduation scale, the so-called noni usz. It allows measurement to the hundredth of a millimetre. The accuracy of measurement is very high at +/- 0.02 mm/m. A screw on the side of the slide locks the slide movement, allowing the measure to be moved safely after measureme nt so that the slide does not move before thereading istaken.
